About Us

Shore11.org is a website dedicated to protecting the Jersey Shore from over-development, pollution, unsustainable fishing, and global warming impacts.  

The site is designed to provide timely news and resources to the public, online tools for information sharing, and a platform for community action on environmental concerns.  It is especially tailored to individuals who surf, swim, fish, bird, boat, shell, dive, and live on the Jersey Shore. 

The site is sponsored by the Coastal Ocean Coalition of environmental organizations. 

Shore11 will be maintained by the sponsoring organizations and volunteers.  If you are interested in volunteering to help manage the site, please send an email to webmaster@shore11.org.
