Anti-LNG Paddle Out - NY

As part of International Surfing Day celebrations, the NYC Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation held a press conference / rally / Paddle Out against the LNG, Liquid Natural Gas, facilities planned off our coast. Right on the beach and boardwalk in Rockaway Beach, the event was attended by NY State Assemblywoman Audrey Pheffer, and NYC Councilman Eric Ulrich.  Dozens of surfers paddled out to display their massive No LNG banner.
