Ocean City wants more sand to bolster south-end beaches

OCEAN CITY - The city is asking the state for more beach money just months after completion of a $7 million state project downtown.

The city hopes to partner again this fall with the state Department of Environmental Protection to repair storm-battered beaches on the south end between 34th Street and Corsons Inlet. So far, 21 towns have asked the state for $20 million.  Read more »
