Los Angeles (myFOXla.com) - Critics are calling "The Cove" the year's best spy thriller. It's not a big budget Hollywood movie... it's a documentary about dolphins trapped and brutally killed in a cove near the Japanese fishing village of Taiji, and the heroes who risk everything to tell the story and save them. "The Cove" has had a global impact since its release. Taiji first returned 70 dolphins back to sea. The film was accepted into the Tokyo Film Festival, despite the initial controversy it caused in Japan. The film's producers tell us that, as a result of the movie, Taiji eventually banned the killing of bottlenose dolphins. "The Cove" has been winning awards and gaining accolades worldwide.
